Is an independent organization dedicated to building strong and lasting connections between Brazil and Asia.
With the Dragon Tales Co-Production Lab and other programs, we bring together institutions, professionals and companies by offering training, consultancy, matchmaking, and curated events at major festivals and markets.
Our mission is to make creative and business partnerships easier, more frequent, and more sustainable — building a living network that expands opportunities, shares knowledge, and drives longterm industry growth.
With partners expanding across both regions, ABRASIA adds newperspectives to the global audiovisual ecosystem.
Brazil and Asia share a creative energy that remains largely untapped, with vast potential to expand the reach, visibility, and impact of their cultural products worldwide.
We believe the future of audiovisual lies in building new dynamics between markets and strengthening South-South networks.
Despite this, there is a lack of structured bridges between creatorsand institutions in these regions. ABRASIA transforms these gaps into opportunities.
ABRASIA operates in three integrated areas.
We take part in leading festivals and markets by curating programs, hosting panels, creating connections, and highlighting Brazil–Asia collaborations.
• 2025: Cannes (France), Busan (South Korea), TIFFCOM (Japan), Mostra SP (Brasil), TCCF (Taiwan)
• 2026: Beijing (China), Cannes (France), Rio2C (Brasil), Busan (South Korea), TIFFCOM (Japan), Festival do Rio (Brasil), Mostra de SP (Brasil), TCCF (Taiwan)
Each year we’ll run the Dragon Tales Lab, plus mentorships, workshops and other events that prepare talents and projects to cross borders.
We connect projects, talents, and institutions, supporting strategic alliances and helping build an active, cross-regional community.
We also act as an institutional bridge: coordinating Brazilian delegations in Asian markets and welcoming Asian representatives in Brazil.
ABRASIA is a flexible, forward-looking platform open to institutional, diplomatic, creative, and strategic collaborations. Our partnerships are designed to bring visibility, recognition, and tangible impact to every partner involved.
If you represent an investment, institution, festival, production company, business, or cultural initiative interested in supporting this initiative, please contact us.
